How does a rain hood work?

The rain hood features a drip strip that protects the enclosure's door gasket from the accumulation of water while also shielding it from UV radiation. Benefit: The rain hood protects installed components from water as it removes the risk of accumulated water on top of the gasket, dripping into the enclosure when the door is opened.

What are the dimensions of a rain hood?

The overall dimensions of the enclosure will increase by 60mm in height, 20mm in width and 20mm in depth. If the enclosure is installed in an outdoor environment, then the rain hood will require a harsh environment power coating, which will provide better protection against corrosion and UV radiation.

How many rain hoods are in a pack?

Pack quantity: 1 rain hood with mounting accessories. Additional information: For exposure to high levels of UV radiation, the ARF should be ordered with 100% polyester paint coating. An additional corrosion protection primer coating is recommended for humid environments.
