What are the requirements for submitting a bid?
Bidder must possess a PC/ Laptop with Windows 7 professional operating system and Internet Explorer 8 or 9 for hassle free bidding. Bidder is essentially required to effect the security settings as defined in the portal.
Who is eligible to bid in RFS tender?
In case the foreign company participating as a member of consortium, Clause 36.7 of the RfS shall be applicable. Any Bidder from a country which shares a land border with India will be eligible to bid in this tender only if the bidder is registered with the Competent Authority (as defined in the OM as referred above).
What does bid capacity mean?
46.12 “BID CAPACITY” shall mean aggregate project capacity of the Battery Energy Storage System(s) as proposed by the Bidder. 46.13 “BID IMPLEMENTING AGENCY” OR “BIA” shall mean SECI, i.e. the Bidding Agency designated for issuing the tender documents and carrying out the process of selection of Successful Bidders under the Guidelines.
Why do I need a bidder to access the e-tender portal?
Bidder is essentially required to effect the security settings as defined in the portal. The Bidder must have a high-speed internet connectivity (preferably Broadband) with internet explorer to access ISN-ETS’s e-Tender Portal for downloading the Tender document and uploading/ submitting the Bids.
Is the battery energy storage purchase agreement irrevocable?
It is further expressly agreed that the Agreement shall be irrevocable and shall form an integral part of the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) and shall remain valid until the expiration or early termination of the BESPA in terms thereof, unless expressly agreed to the contrary by SECI. 13.
What is a battery energy storage purchase agreement (BESPA)?
SECI shall enter into a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with the successful Bidders selected based on this RfS, for providing Energy Storage facility to KSEBL as per the terms, conditions and provisions of the RfS and BESPA.
